CASF produces an annual event recognizing the achievements in construction and architecture among the South Florida community. The awards banquet and presentation showcases the winners with a multi-media presentation and print program. My task was to create key art that visually identified the various categories, and could easily be adapted for multiple deliverables. Because it was also a milestone event (celebrating 60 years), I needed to develop a type treatment that could serve across platforms.
The bold “60th” treatment interlaced with photos of the winning projects was the starting point for the key art. I was able to modify this for finished pieces including a 20-page program, pull-up banners, backdrop and projection screen. After the event, CASF asked me to oversee the design of the annual membership directory. I maintained the visual style with the layout of a 64-page catalogue.
