B+E Wedding Invitation
One of my biggest design challenges was to create a wedding invitation for my own wedding! It was a great opportunity to set the tone of the event by combining interesting paper stock with design that matched our personalities. My fiancee sketched out the initial logo, and I used the drawing as inspiration for the full package.
The logo was blind embossed on dull-coated cover stock and folded to fit in a custom-designed, vertical outer envelope with die-cuts. The back contained pockets that held inserts for details and the RSVP. The mailing envelope was accented with hand-drawn metallic silver ink to compliment the lines of the logo.
