As a supplier of medications to Skilled Nursing and PACE facilities, GraneRx needed to redesign their medication delivery system from a sterile box to an elegant packaging solution. Multiple daily medications can take up unnecessary space and become disorganized. These “medpack” boxes needed a fresh, modern look that could be displayed on a recipient’s countertop for easy accessibility.

I designed the packaging with abstract circles which represented the shapes of pills. We designated a box with cool tones to identify medications that are necessary to take daily, and warm tones for medications that are taken as needed. To keep printing costs reasonable, I configured each box design with two spot-colors (ex: orange + red; blue + purple).
